Good graphic design is like cutting the grass. It doesn't matter how high or how short you cut it. It just needs to be consistent to look good.

Randle Wedding

I had the very special privilege to assist Cindy Rankin of Thia Photographie in shooting Tommy and Brena's wedding this past weekend.  It was such a thrill to help capture our friends memories.  Tommy & Brena- We love you guys!

Classy Chic Bowtique Business Card

The customer requested a girly design and mentioned liking pink text and lime green background, but said that she tried it herself and it didn't look good.  This is what I came up with and she absolutely LOVED it!

Two Sisters Catering

If you have never tried a Ding Dong cake from Two Sisters Catering, I suggest that you call the number on the card and order one!  This is a promotional mailout I made for them.  They requested a portion of the back to remain blank so that they could customize it for special offers.

New Gear

Bro. Nathan called me in his office after service the other day. He had a surprise for me and told me not to look. Too late. I saw it out of the corner of my eye and jumped up and down and squealed like a kid at Christmas. I ran over to it to check it out and was so excited, I was almost to the point of tears. Yes, only me and Bro. Nathan would be so excited about a piece of fruit:)

One Year Ago!

It was April 19, 2008. The sanctuary was packed with Apostolic youth from across America. The Mid-America Singspiration was underway. And then it happened. I was called to the platform, where Mikey came up behind me with roses (almost carnations)! The entire FPC youth department rushed to the edge of the platform screaming and cheering. I kept my eyes on Mikey, too afraid to look at my friends. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Bro. Nathan pounding on the floor of the platform and yelling at Mikey to "Get on your knees! Get on your knees!" And so he did. A hush fell over the crowd as he asked me the all-important question, "Elizabeth...will you marry me?" Cheers erupted from the crowd as I accepted his offer and our friends swarmed us, hugging and laughing and crying. The guys high-fived Mikey and lifted him up on their shoulders like the champ that he is.

That was a year ago. On June 6, 2008, before God, family, friends, and, of course, the Summit, we vowed to love, honor, and cherish each other for as long as we live.

Life is good.

Summit Events February

This is the front and back of a Summit card that I made outlining the events for February.  This is another example of Bro. Chris giving me something he saw and telling me, "Do it."

Thanks to Lauren Thomason for the photo and Rachael Johnson for being our model:)

Weeks Mailout

This is the front of a postcard that I did for Bro. and Sis. Ben Weeks.  Wonderful sermon on Sunday morning!

Kids Alive

This is the banner for our Kids Alive Ministry.  The Summit will be hosting children's church at the end of this month and this is just one part of a promo campaign.

Thanks to Tyler Culpepper & Lauren Thomason for getting the pix and to Bro. Chris "Summit" Blakley for all of his hard work and dedication.

A Few Elevate Youth Fliers

One of my responsibilities is to come up with a flier for each youth ministry at church. There are three youth groups: Elevate caters to students in grades 7 thru 9, Uplift is geared toward high school students from their sophomore year thru graduation, and then it is off to the Summit (College & Career, never married).

These are a few that I did for Elevate.

Flowers and Vases

What a difference a day can make in Arkansas! The bottom two were taken at the church on a cool winter day, the top two were taken the next morning. Welcome to Arkansas:)
