Good graphic design is like cutting the grass. It doesn't matter how high or how short you cut it. It just needs to be consistent to look good.

New Gear

Bro. Nathan called me in his office after service the other day. He had a surprise for me and told me not to look. Too late. I saw it out of the corner of my eye and jumped up and down and squealed like a kid at Christmas. I ran over to it to check it out and was so excited, I was almost to the point of tears. Yes, only me and Bro. Nathan would be so excited about a piece of fruit:)

One Year Ago!

It was April 19, 2008. The sanctuary was packed with Apostolic youth from across America. The Mid-America Singspiration was underway. And then it happened. I was called to the platform, where Mikey came up behind me with roses (almost carnations)! The entire FPC youth department rushed to the edge of the platform screaming and cheering. I kept my eyes on Mikey, too afraid to look at my friends. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Bro. Nathan pounding on the floor of the platform and yelling at Mikey to "Get on your knees! Get on your knees!" And so he did. A hush fell over the crowd as he asked me the all-important question, "Elizabeth...will you marry me?" Cheers erupted from the crowd as I accepted his offer and our friends swarmed us, hugging and laughing and crying. The guys high-fived Mikey and lifted him up on their shoulders like the champ that he is.

That was a year ago. On June 6, 2008, before God, family, friends, and, of course, the Summit, we vowed to love, honor, and cherish each other for as long as we live.

Life is good.
